So DHP-Lee of New Mexico held a Dyno Day at his shop in Albuquerque. Many cars and busses showed up to show what they had on the dyno. The only thing more impressive than Lee and Kim’s shop and hospitality was the event itself. WOW!!!

On a side note…DHP Alex and DHP Wes had a bet. They both run 1915 Strokers in their vehicles (Alex’s bug and Wes’ Single Cab) so the bet was…loser gets a mohawk that night so the next day at the balloon show everyone would know who the loser was.

Well…we woke up at 4 am and drove to Mesa for the Karls show. It’s the 2nd leg of the Fall triple Crown and it did not fall short of expectations. Wow. 161 cars! We took off a bit early but we had a blast.

The video is short but we had fun. A little pre-planning enabled us to get it online the same day as the show. It may not make a lot of sense, but then again…there’s no point in taking any of this too seriously, so…..

So…DHP New Mexico was given an opportunity to host the car show portion of the annual Busses and Balloons event this year. John Clevenger made it out from Tucson with his Razor and lemorris brought the fam out to enjoy the show. Albuquerque is a wonderful city with wonderful people and the Busses and Balloons event is one you will DHP at for many years to come.
