Throughout this 5th year we will post pics from the past as a way to remember some of the good times.

Above is the infamous Mike Grady “Brotha Dub” in all it’s glory. This is the car that is featured in 2 movies on our movie player page (link on the right). The Brotha Dub was sold to a fine Sista in Tucson and we haven’t seen it since. We miss it. It was definitely a fun car and one worth remembering.

Well after 6 years the 58vwcom plates are gone…as is the 58vw.com site. Lemorris moved his internet home to http://www.lemorris.com At first we thought he did it because he’s egomaniacal but then he explained that he wanted a site that focused more on his art projects and less on his car. He chose his name because well….it’s his name and it’s unique enough to work as a domain. He went on to explain how many artists use their own names as a domain and then he went on about some garbage like we don’t ever pay attention to what he says and blah-blah-blah.

Anyway he asked if he could get the DHP 58 plate and Lowbus Terry graciously let him. (Terry has the first DHP-58). Now all is right in Lemorris land. He has new plates (screenprinted not prisoner stamped…look funny in my opinion says Pete) and he has a new ego-page so whoopty-frekkin-doo and bye.

What do you do when you realize you have a bunch of unused footage from the last few months on your camera?

Well, if you’re Lemorris you make a senseless video meant to do nothing and be nothing other than what it is….which is just plain silliness.

wow…all I can tell you is it was funny and fun and funner than just about anyweekend I’ve had. Thanks to Alex and Wes for comin over and thanks to Mike Grady and TJ for comin down. It’s a weekend I’ll remember for a long time to come.
