So Xyclone the artist and upstate New York VW mega-weapon was in Tucson for business yesterday and he stopped by The Compound for a bit. Here’s a little video just because and plus we’re testing our new format.

DHP-NM runnin thangs…..what

DHP-Phoenix member T.J. picked up a sweet oval rag recently. It’s been sitting since 1974, but no more. T.J. is one of the crew at Doug’s Bugs and Bunnies so you can be sure this car will be on the raod and rollin good real soon.

Big congrats to TJ from the rest of DHP…awesome find man!

So as usual DHP is plannin on drivin a number of cars out to the Classic. It looks like we will have no less than 8 cars “drive” (no trailers….umm…well except for Nate but then again it’s a drag car so…well anyway) the 800+ miles and who knows how many more folks will be there. In any case this time of year is always exciting as work is being done.

In this video you’ll see a slice in time of what is goin down as we prepare for our annual trek to CA to play.

Just a quick New Mexico pic showing a discussion taking place between the two bagpipers. It’s our understanding that what started out as a simple question, “You think that fly ride over there is on bags?” escalated into an all out brawl when someone replied, “I think yo mama is on bags!”

It’s almost Classic time and DHP will once again be there reppin our little outfit. This pick is from a past trip out where a few of the fellas stopped by Empi just to get a quick pic.

Apparently DHP Pete works with an ex-drummer of Lemorris’ all time favorite band The Ohio Players. Pete was kind enough to get an autograph for Lemorris, which Lemorris was very happy about. Once Lemorris got home and scanned and framed the picture he let Pete know that he is no longer his “best friend” and sometimes the irony of losing your buddy status as a result of something kind you did is the stuff that character is built from.

So…Why no posts?….what have we been up to?…Did you guys really do that with Alex’s car?…Are the rumors of Brandons pending nuptuials true?

I’m not at liberty to discuss all the deatails, lets just say that much much much is goin on. All the media for the new stuff is slowly being created. In the meantime here’s a couple shots just to wet your whistle.
