2 Minutes of DHP at The Classic

Sunday, June 29th, 2008

This years Classic video was truncated due to us forgetting to actually shoot footage :)

Oh well…there’s a very cool couple of vids coming up

The guys did have fun out there though and ultimately that’s all that really matters. The videos are just a distraction…at least this one is a short one.

enjoy!

Bustin Tires a DHP Video

Sunday, June 22nd, 2008

Today we cleaned up the side of the shop and ended up with oh…800 tires that needed to be unhooked, or de-integrated or busted as Brandon called it.

Though Chirco’s shop is closed on Saturdays they were kind enough to let us use their tire buster machine to do the job.

Just a quick vid…testin the format still.

enjoy

Meet DHP-NM Chris

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

DHP New Mexico has a new member. His name is Chris.

Chris grew up in a family of circus performers. The flying Hercias & Scruffy was the name of the act. The creshendo of their show was a death defying blind grab over a huge vat of coconut creme pie filling. It was Chris who had earlier worked on his bug and missed a spot of grease on his hands, that was responsible for the terrible accident in 1987. Chris hopped in his bug and left the circus vowing to never return as the pain of seeing his beloved pet Ostrich Scruffy slipping out of his hands and disappearing into the coconut abyss was an image he could not shake. After drifting for 3 years he finally found a steady job in Albuquerque selling RugDoctor parts. He is married but wishes to keep his wife’s name (Cinnamon) a secret. He has 9 children and a pet rock named….Scruffy 2.

Though parts of his story is tragic it’s just another example of how DHP is based on character. To be one of us, it depends on WHO YOU ARE, and Chris is good…on the inside…so now…he is us.

Welcome my friend.

Some New Friends: Meet The DHK

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

The internet is a magical place. It’s the kind of place where sometimes you run into people that are very much like you. That being said we wanted to give a shout out to the cool cats at DHK. Yeah they talk a little trash, and yeah they got their letters wrong, but our similarities outweigh our differences and it’s that common bond that makes new net friends so cool…so…

go check them out at:

What!….Now What!….What the hell! :)

What to do…

Sunday, June 8th, 2008

… It’s a little lonely in Tucson these days. With the majority of the DHP guys at The Classic, Tucson streets are almost VW-less. Gone is that throaty roar of the DHP crew…it’s bone chilling reverberation has been replaced by crickets and elderly people who walk around remembering stuff that didn’t happen.

Alas the lonely boy Lemorris is left in a cold cold 100+ degree city by himself…so what does he do? Well, he’s dog-sitting DHP Pete’s companion Millie and fortunately she’s quite the swimmer.

You know…on second thought, I don’t think he misses those guys that much at all. :)
