Not much to say here. It was a painfully obvious decision. Sean Phills is now DHP…yes…that Sean Phills. Sean brings skills. We are honored that he chose us. Very cool man Welcome WhatWednesday, July 23rd, 2008WARNING: lowlifevw.com is back!Sunday, July 20th, 2008![]() As you may or may not know, http://www.lowlifevw.com has been gone for over a month. The significance in that lies in the fact that lowlifevw is the main artery of communication for a lot of the Arizona VW enthusiasts as well as enthusiasts all over the globe. Lowlife has been and will continue to be DHPs main forum hang out. We want to thank Scott for all of his hard work in bringing back our friends so to speak. We appreciate you man. Thanks for making it happen. Polishing TrimSaturday, July 19th, 2008From DHP-NM Alex: Did some polishing last night, thought I’d share. I used a material call jewelers rouge, hard to find, comes in different grades. Used the red one first to scuff pretty good and then the white to give a fine finish.
From the rest of DHP: Frekkin cool man! Looks great Alex. Finally!!!Tuesday, July 15th, 2008It’s become pretty common for the DHP cats to run 155/60s on the front of their cars. It’s basically a SMART car tire. This tire is cool as it’s not as tall as a street standard 135 and it’s also wider. That means that the car sits a little more than an inch lower in the front but still has room so there’s no rubbing….in this case that is. That being the or rather this case, it only took Lemorris 5 months to get his on his car….finally.
A Drawing for WesTuesday, July 8th, 2008DHP NM Wes was very excited when Lemorris told him he was going to draw his car. Lemorris doesn’t draw many of the DHP members cars because he doesn’t really like us, and we’re ok with that (joke). In any case Lemorris drew Wes’ car and Wes was so pleased he got a hi-res print framed.
We’re told he went on a 2 hour tour with it all around Albuquerque and that’s where he took this picture. We thought it was important to point out the most important part of this picture.
From Lemorris to Wes: Thanks much for letting me draw your car man. It makes me feel good to know that you like it. what |
